When did we became so selfish?
We hide behind our lies until we turn
into a lie.
All our dreams of future with ribbons and
curly kids began to shatter.
Somewhere, in the crowd we find ourselves,
so idiotically zombified.
The thirst of shallowness turned us.
Blinded by our egos and suspicion,
we are driven to madness.
Nothing is pure behind our shady eyes.
So scared of truth, kindness, love.
Still, I am not ashamed to try.
